• Vana'diel Tribune II Volume 3 has been released. You can access it here or through the PlayOnline viewer.


• Amazing Areas & Ferocious Foes! (Final Fantasy XI Development Team)
  As you may already know, the FINAL FANTASY XI development team is planning a major version update for late February. However, for those of you who just can't wait, the team has decided to offer a further glimpse into what's in store for Vana'diel. 01/27/05:

• The PlayOnline registration server will be unavailable at the following time: February 1st from 12:00 am to 5:00 am PST and February 2nd from 12:00 am to 4:00 am PST. During this time you will be unable to register or unsubscribe PlayOnline accounts. You will be unable to review or update your member information. You will be unable to review, purchase, cancel or reactivate content ID's.


• The version update scheduled for the end of February will concentrate mainly on events connected with the Promathia areas, as well as feature an exciting new array of notorious monsters, battlefields, and items. Previously inaccessible areas will also be unlocked for players to explore! Click here to preview some of the new equipment that will be added in the next update.

01/20/05:

• PlayOnline will be undergoing Network Maintenance this Saturday, 1/22/05from about 11:00 am to 1:00 pm PST. If you get disconnected, simply try to login again. This will only affect PlayOnline.


• GM Petition Server Maintenance will be conducted TOMORROW, Friday 1/21/05 from 3:00 am to 3:30 am PST. If you have unresolved issues before this time, they will be cleared and you will need to re-petition for GM's to address this issue. This will affect both PlayOnline and Final Fantasy XI.

01/17/05:

• There will be a PlayOnline version update tomorrow. There will be no server maintenance, all services will continue to function normally. The client software will be updated at this time. 23:00 PST (0:00 1/19/05 for MST, 1:00 for CST, 2:00 for EST; other time zones will have to adjust accordingly as I don't know them by heart :/ ).
  
  "Important Update Details: The BGM's that will be added into designated pages will now play without the version update."
